How It Started!

How I found out about AG

A long time ago my mom bought me a whole bunch of books and one of them happened to be Lindsey, GOTY 2001's meet book. I was really into it and I also saw the Advertisement for American girl dolls in the back. some time later, I was over at my friend's house, and we somehow came up with the subject of American girl dolls! She actually had 3, Samantha and Kirsten, which were her older sister's dolls that they gave to her, and Kit which was her own. we always played AG's when I came to her house! I even went to the AG place Chicago with her once, and she let me take care of her Samantha! I soon got an AG catalouge, I flipped through it every day. I fell in love with Rebecca after purchasing her books. I started to save up, however in the process I read the Little House on the Prairie series, and so I decided I needed Kirsten! Then to my luck, my dad had a meeting in Chicago... that happened to be right by the AG place! (I actually skipped school) and we went to the AG place, and I got my first AG, Kirsten! I was so happy <3

How I found out about Pullips

I saw my first pullip on Basilmento's youtube channel. I thought her pullip was so cool, unique and pretty. I did some research and saw many other pullips and how cool and unique they really were! there were tons on flickr too. I kept looking them up and decided I wanted one too! after a while, I decided on Merl. I definitely made the right choice, I love her!
And now... I have been sucked into the never-ending vortex of Pullip-ness. They're just so unique and cute, and there are endless possibilities of customizing them!






How I found out about AGtube

For Christmas 2011 I got my own iPod. I would often go on YouTube and search random things. Books, Video games, . One day I thought of Kirsten sitting in my closet, and I decided to search AG. this was one of the BEST decisions of my life. when I searched, a surprising amount came up. my first video was something like "what your dolls do while your at school" I was stopmotion, and I somehow knew that to make a stopmotion you take a picture, move it a bit, and so on. I kept on clicking on videos, and I really like sbzeee's videos. soon, basilmentos' was my new favorite! In April of 2012 I bought Izzy, #22 so I could make a stopmotion. (why did I need 2 dolls for a stopmotion??? xD) I asked my dad what I could use to edit a stopmotion, and he said that iMovie might work. do I got a stool, set up Kirsten, and filmed "Kirsten and the messy house" (where Kirsten wakes up to a mess, and when she tries to clean it it keeps getting messy, until the house finally attacks her and then she wakes up to find out it's a dream... maybe) My second video was an entry for HeartAG's Hunger Games contest, (a slightly different hunger games) and I got an honorable mention! unfortunately, it was on my mom's channel xD After making my 3rd movie, my mom decided I needed my own channel. So I made RandomRoses11. the name was inspired my my random quote Roses are sometimes, but that would be too long. It also needed a number, I wanted 13 which was my lucky number, but it wasn't available, so I did RandomRoses11. I started to fill up my new channel with videos! I was less experienced then, (sorry for any stupid comments, I truly apologize!!!) but I'm learning more and more about AGtube.
